Baxter Clare Trautman

Baxter Clare Trautman, is the author of the Lambda Literary finalist L.A. Franco mystery series. In June of 2015, she released Hold of the Bone, the latest Lt. L.A. Franco mystery, through Bywater Books.

She also wrote the award winning The River Within, and Spirit of the Valley, a natural history of California oak woodlands.

She lives with her wife in Central California.
