Hilary Sloin was accepted to attend Hedgebrook as one of the alums invited back for a second residency. She is thrilled “since part of what makes Hedgebrook so unique is that it offers women writers paid residencies only once in a lifetime. It is the most glorious place–beautiful, hand-made cottages very near the sea, flowers growing everywhere, and amazing women writers with whom one gets to eat dinner, go for walks, and hang out and discuss the writing life. And then, of course, there is all that time to write! It is a huge honor to have been chosen.”
